In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Indianapolis; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Indiana are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Celebrated a friend's birthday. My second visit...first one i rather not talk about but glad I went the second time. The food was all fresh. The variety was mind boggling for the price. From sea food to steak n chicken, noodles, rice, sushi. Not a lot of vegetarian options . The sweets buffet was also as good. They also had ice cream. We all had a great time. Plus we forgot the birthday candles n they gave us free fancy birthday candle.

I went here with my family, and everything was okay at first until I started eating. When I opened the wrapped utensils, I noticed that the spoons were still oily โ it seemed like they hadnโt been properly washed and might have been reused from a previous customer. I asked the staff to replace them, and they did bring me new spoons, but no one commented or apologized for the issue. As for the hot pot buffet ingredients, Iโm quite sure that many items werenโt properly cleaned. The vegetables and mushrooms still had dirt on them, and the crab wasnโt scrubbed or washed thoroughly โ you could see residue all around the shell. I forgot to take a photo of the spoon, the cleanliness was very disappointing. I definitely wonโt be coming back.

We had an amazing experience from start to finish. The service stood out right away. It was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The owner was working the floor, which added a personal touch, and the variety of food options was impressive. We went with the buffet, which featured all-you-can-eat hot pot, teppanyaki, sushi, salads, Chinese dishes, desserts, and fresh fruit. The atmosphere was lively and upbeatโevery table around us seemed to be enjoying themselves. There were two restroom options, and the one I used had quirky, fun signage that added a bit of charm. The sauce station was extensive, offering a wide range of flavors. Itโs clear that attention to detail is a priority here: they had chopstick helpers for those unfamiliar, and clear signage explaining how to enjoy hot potโperfect for first-timers who might be shy about asking. I ordered a vegetarian hot pot, and our server went above and beyond. She walked me through the buffet, pointing out all the vegetarian options, and even brought a special vegetarian broth refill just for me. That level of care really stood out.
